Nakita.id - Meninggalnya Ratu Elizabeth II pada Kamis (8/9/2022) membuat Inggris menggelar hari berkabung nasional selama 10 hari.
Pada hari ketiga berkabung, yaitu Minggu (11/9/2022), jenazah Ratu Elizabeth II dibawa ke Istana Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh.
Istana Holyroodhouse merupakan kediaman resmi penguasa Britania Raya.
Melansir unggahan instagram akun resmi The Royal family, jenazah Ratu Elizabeth II akan diistirahatkan di ruang takhta hingga Senin (12/9/2022) sore waktu setempat.
Pada iring-iringan jenazah Ratu Elizabeth II, terdapat momen haru.
Tampak pengangkat peti jenazah begitu sedih karena kehilangan Ratu yang sudah memimpin Inggris selama 70 tahun.
Para pembawa peti mati jenazah Ratu Elizabeth II tampak begitu berduka.
Nantinya peti mati berisi jenazah Ratu Elizabeth II akan dibawa ke Katedral St. Giles.
Acara ini dihadiri oleh Raja Charles III dan anggota keluarga kerajaan.
Peti mati yang berisi jenazah Ratu Elizabeth II akan dijaga oleh Vigils dari The Royal Company.
"Her Majesty The Queen’s coffin has arrived at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, where it will rest in the Throne Room until tomorrow afternoon.Tomorrow a Procession will be formed on the forecourt of the Palace of Holyroodhouse to convey the Coffin to St Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh. The King and Members of the Royal Family will take part in the Procession and attend a Service in St Giles’ Cathedral to receive the Coffin.Her Majesty's Coffin will then lie at rest in St Giles' Cathedral, guarded by Vigils from The Royal Company of Archers, to allow the people of Scotland to pay their respects," tulis akun resmi The Royal Family.
